A device called an “intraoral wand” is placed inside a patient’s mouth and is moved alongside a patient’s teeth, taking digital images of the patient’s teeth and the shape of the jaw. A very safe laser captures images efficiently without causing any discomfort & the dentist continues to scan until all the areas are covered after accurately capturing the details of your arch, bite, teeth, and gums. The Phoenix dentist will quickly send them to a lab. The old process of gooey impression to appliance used to take two or more weeks. In contrast, with digital impressions, that process takes about 3-5 days.
